Gabriella Perry
Gabriella Elyse Perry currently works as a Facilities Technology Specialist for Rivian Automotive LLC. She received her Master of Design Studies in Technology at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2022. Her master’s thesis focused on creating the first ever cylindrical crochet machine. Her projects focus on non-layered additive manufacturing and novel machine design. Her interests include digital fabrication and computational design in the realms of architecture, design, and fashion.
Gabriella graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2020 with her Bachelor of Architecture. She worked at Virginia Tech's Center for Design Research as a Robotics and Additive Manufacturing Specialist and Lab manager from 2019-2021. She co-instructed multiple independent studies on additive manufacturing and managed the additive manufacturing and prototyping lab at the Center for Design Research.
