My Father taught me woodworking tools at a very young age. I could run our small scroll saw and drill press by the time I was 12. He was always working on some project, whether he was building our back deck or redoing our bathroom for the third time. I inherited my passion for craft and making from my Father, and from time to time, I would help out with some of these projects. One of his more recent projects was making longboards for his kids, which we then learned to ride. After he made the first couple, I asked him to teach me. I learned how to laminate the plywood, cut out the board shape, bend, paint, and seal the board with resin. I designed the bottom of the boards and the grip tape for some of the boards too. I have made more boards than depicted, but most have been given away as gifts before photographing them.
